Rules to Live By.

- Do not correct people just to be a smart ass, or to make yourself seem smart. You don’t look smart; you just look like an asshole.

- Do not act like a know it all.

- Do not talk too much. Talk just the right amount.

- Do not give advice unless asked for. People don’t want you to fix their problems. Most of the time, they just want someone to listen.

- Don’t say everything on your mind, including assumptions about people and situations. Bite your tongue if you don’t have anything positive to say.

- Do not be negative or use negative language. You just seem depressing and no one wants to hear that shit.

- Do not make fun of others unless they are making fun of themselves about whatever it is first. Don’t go out of your way to call someone out. Goes back to you being an asshole.

- Do not get offended. Shrug it off as a joke and move on. Getting defensive about a trivial matter just makes you look like a bitch.

- NEVER EVER LIE. It will somehow come back to bite you, ALWAYS.

- Open up gradually. You don’t have to let everyone know your life story initially.

- Do not close yourself from people either. If you can’t relate to anyone and vice versa, then you can’t form any bonds of friendship.

- Be nice, but be playful. DO NOT BE BORING. Always have something to talk about.

- Do not mumble or be beta. Be assertive, but in a calm and humble way. If you’re going to speak, speak up.

- Be yourself, but assess situations. You don’t have to be every bit of you in a situation that doesn’t call for it. It’s overbearing.

LISTEN and learn to relate to people.

- You are a man; Act like one.

- Do not go out of your way to be mean or act tough. Humble yourself.

- Do not say no to everything, unless you have a good or moral reason too. Enjoy life, and do things. Be in pictures, go places, have fun. Be stupid, but reasonably stupid.

- Embarrassment happens. Embrace your mistakes and no one will think twice about it.

ALWAYS end with hugs or handshakes. Always, unless unwanted.

- If you are with someone or a group, interact with them. Do not go out of your way to be anti-social. You have plenty of time to be alone so enjoy yourself.

- Express your talents but don’t flaunt them. Know your audience and gravitate to those who will not judge you.

- Let your actions define you. Just make sure you end up with a good definition.

A good relationship is when two people accept each other’s past, support each other’s present, and love each other enough to encourage each other’s future. So don’t rush love. Find a partner who encourages you to grow, who won’t cling to you, who will let you go out into the world, and trust that you will come back. This is what true love is all about.
